Acceptable Targets for Public Ranges
When you buy your range pass you will receive one free paper target. additional targets may be purchased at the Range House.
All targets must be hung on the wire at the target end of the range or, on the 25 yard range, on the portable target stands.
Guests may bring their own targets as long as they meet the following criteria:
- Photo realistic paper targets depicting real people or graphic representations of public figures are not allowed.
- Steel targets are not permitted on ranges open to the public.
- “Trash” targets – bottles, cans, food, etc. – are not permitted.
The Range Safety Officer on duty is the sole authority on each range, and may require any target deemed inappropriate, unsafe or unsuitable be removed from the range.
