This match is for semi-auto military rifles with open (iron) sights. Fifty rounds are shot for score in: standing, sitting or kneeling and prone positions at 200yd reduced targets on our 100 yd range.
The sling is used for all positions except standing. We shoot both slow and rapid fire with a magazine change required in rapid fire only. 10-rounds are shot each at 3 of the stages and 20-rounds are fired at one of the stages.
Shooters score their own targets. No prizes are awarded, bragging rights only.
We also have a winter match in February called the Frozen Chosin.
Match fees are $3.00 for OGC members and $5.00 for non-members.
